After years of development, the packaging and printing industry in Chaoan District has gradually formed a distinctive industrial cluster, which is mainly concentrated in Anbu, Guangdong. In addition, shaxi, Dongfeng, Fuyang, Fengtang and other towns also have their own distribution, among them, Anbu, Guangdong has “China's first town of packaging and printing”, is our country's main packaging and printing production place. As of 2021, there are a total of 1,104 packaging and Printing Enterprises in Chaoan District, forming a group of packaging and printing enterprises mainly focusing on food packaging, ceramic packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. The products sell well all over the country and are exported to more than 60 countries and regions in Europe, , Asia, Africa, Australia and so on. As a characteristic export and foreign trade pillar industry of Chaoan district, packaging and printing has a steady development speed and good economic benefits. In the 2021, there are 103 large-scale packaging and printing enterprises in Chaoan, with an output value of 4.717 billion yuan and sales revenue of 4.312 billion yuan, up 33.5 percent year-on-year, and foreign trade exports of 820 million yuan. Chaozhou Chaoan district packaging and printing industry foreign trade upgrading base has 20 high-tech Enterprises, Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center 6, city-level Engineering Technology Research Center 8, postdoctoral Innovation Practice base 1, postdoctoral research station 2. base give full play to their industrial advantages, innovative development, with new technology, new products, new functions, to win new business opportunities.
